EPC+ and Route to Net Zero for GRP Solutions Limited (Portsmouth, UK)

In our collaboration with GRP Solutions, we embarked on a series of strategic and comprehensive actions aimed at enhancing their environmental and operational efficiency

  • Our journey began with an extensive technical audit of their energy and water systems. This audit covered a wide range of areas, including building façades, lighting systems, and energy systems. We also evaluated the efficiency of their warehouse, ensuring a thorough understanding of their current operational status.
  • To underscore our commitment to innovative and renewable energy solutions, we conducted a feasibility study exploring the integration of solar and wind power plants into their existing infrastructure.
  • Additionally, we performed detailed flue gas and power analyses, which contributed to a holistic understanding of their energy usage and identified key opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Following these assessments, we initiated the process of calculating their carbon footprint, laying the groundwork for a meticulously developed Net-Zero strategy. This ongoing one-year project will guide GRP Solutions through their short-term and mid-term journey towards Net-Zero, aligning with the global imperative for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Throughout this process, we identified 15 potential sustainability solutions, which are expected to yield significant benefits:
    • otential Carbon Emission Reduction: 71,042 kg CO2e per year
    • Potential water savings: 528 cubic metres per year
    • Potential energy savings: 95,651 kWh per year (66%)
    • Reaching the Net Zero State by: 2050
